On 3 December 2014, at the premises of the Armed Forces Staff, the 11th edition of the Plenary Conference of the NATO Rapid Deployable Corps - Italy (NRDC-ITA) was held.

During the meeting, the path through which NRDC-ITA will travel was presented. Within a year, NRDC-ITA will acquire a new structure aimed at achieving, in 2015, the culmination of NATO certification as a trained and deployable “Joint” Task Force Headquarters. Is a project that will transform NRDC-ITA to take responsibility for “Land Heavy” Joint operations by 2015, thus responding to NATO’s specific needs.

To signal the presence of Gen. D. Maurizio Boni, representing NRDC-ITA, and the representatives of 12 countries from the Multinational Command with the NRDC-ITA headquarters in Solbiate Olona (VA).
