Visit of the ARF NRDC-ITA Command and the LCC of Multinational Division South to Kosovo: Strengthening Operational Planning and NATO Cohesion

Pristina, 20 November 2025 – A delegation from the Allied Reaction Force (ARF) NRDC-ITA Command, together with the Land Component Command of Multinational Division South (MND-S), recently conducted an important Operational Liaison Reconnaissance Team (OLRT) activity in Kosovo, at KFOR Headquarters in Camp Film City.

The activity provided an opportunity to advance planning efforts aimed at ensuring a rapid and integrated response in the event of a crisis, in line with SHAPE directives.

Since 1 July 2024, NRDC-ITA has been operating as the Allied Reaction Force (ARF), with the capability to deliver a swift and effective response to NATO’s needs in emergency situations. This visit highlighted not only the importance of cooperation among KFOR, JFC Naples, and NRDC-ITA, but also the continuous commitment to innovation and modernization of the operational tools available to the Alliance.

Joint planning and operational training remain essential to maintaining readiness and interoperability among forces, contributing to security and freedom of movement throughout Kosovo, as outlined in UN Security Council Resolution 1244.

Today’s mission further strengthened the role of the ARF NRDC-ITA and its Components as a key reference point for operational readiness and technological innovation, promoting advanced and interoperable solutions to address future security challenges.
