STEADFAST DART 2026: ARF COMMANDER VISITS TUR JFAC IN ESKIŞEHIR

The NATO mission rehearsal highlights the readiness of the Allied Reaction Force and the central role of NRDC-ITA within the Alliance’s multi-domain framework.

Solbiate Olona 28 January 2026, within the framework of the Steadfast Dart 2026 mission rehearsal, currently entering the deployment phase of its components, the Commander of the Allied Reaction Force (ARF) paid an official visit to the Turkish Joint Force Air Component (TUR JFAC)

Headquarters in Eskişehir.

Steadfast Dart 2026 represents one of NATO’s key mission rehearsal events, involving approximately 10,000 men and women from 11 Allied Nations, and is designed to test the Alliance’s rapid reaction capability, crisis management effectiveness, and command and control in a highly dynamic operational environment.

Particular emphasis was placed on multi-domain integration across land, air, maritime, cyber and space domains, enabled by highly advanced technological systems and capabilities, in which NATO is investing significantly to ensure interoperability, resilience and information superiority.

In this context, the NATO Rapid Deployable Corps – Italy (NRDC-ITA) confirms its role as a key operational hub for all ARF Components, thanks to its high level of readiness and proven capability to operate within a fully integrated multi-domain environment. The ARF represents a strategic shaping instrument of the Alliance, designed to ensure deterrence, readiness and operational credibility.

STEADFAST DART 2026 shows that NATO can activate and deploy the Allied Reaction Force at speed, moving high-readiness, multi-domain forces across Europe to reinforce Allies where and when they are needed.
